Privacy Policy

Last Updated: June 19, 2026

1. Our Commitment to Your Privacy

TimeZen is built from the ground up to respect your digital space and time. We believe your productivity logs, habits, and tasks are personal to you. Because of this, **TimeZen does not collect, transmit, store, or sell any of your personal data.**

2. On-Device Storage (MMKV)

All application settings, focus presets, task names, and completed session history are stored locally and securely on your mobile device using MMKV. None of this data is uploaded to our servers, synchronized externally, or accessible by third parties. If you delete the app, all local productivity data will be permanently removed from your device.

3. App Diagnostics and Performance (Expo Insights)

To monitor stability, diagnose software crashes, and manage update rollouts, TimeZen integrates **Expo Insights** and **EAS Update telemetry**. These diagnostic tools automatically collect anonymized operational data, including app launch events, crash logs, device models, operating system versions, and app build channels.

This telemetry is used purely to fix system bugs and monitor application health. No personally identifiable information (PII), custom task descriptions, focus logs, or timer histories are ever monitored, shared, or sent.

4. Third-Party Libraries and SDKs

We use a minimal set of standard native Expo modules to power haptic feedback, notification reminders, and local background timers. Aside from the diagnostic logs described in Section 3, none of these SDKs harvest or send personal data to external services.

5. Static Landing Page Website

Our marketing landing page is a static site hosted securely. As detailed in our Cookie Policy, we do not deploy marketing trackers, advertising cookies, or telemetry scripts.
